Born from one man who traded from his pop up in St Andrews, Crème de la Crêpe now serves specialities such as the savoury ‘Billy Goats Gruff’ a goat’s cheese, caramelised onion marmalade, crêpe with sweet cherry bell peppers rocket and the ‘Oh My God!’, a sweet crêpe with Nutella, white chocolate, fresh strawberries and cream. 9. My favourite Over Under Co. branch is on the Pavement in Clapham Common, but they have six other London locations. Serving ‘banging brunches, great coffee, good vibes’ and even cocktails at their Earls Court branch, Over Under Co. does in fact, only have one type of pancake on their menu, but wow is it a good one! The vegetarian ‘American Style Pancakes’ are a stack of fluffy dreamy goodness with rhubarb and mint compote, Estate dairy yoghurt (with the option to swap to coconut yoghurt) and maple syrup. The perfect guilt-free pancake to start your day right – their coffee is also particularly amazing.
10. To celebrate Pancake Day In London, ChicP, a sustainable food brand, has teamed up with Comptoir V the Moroccan inspired restaurant. Passionate about creating indulgent pancakes, ChicP has crafted a dish that combines special flavours from the English garden with Comptoir V’s signature Moroccan twist.
