Celebrate in style at Park Chinois
This year, Park Chinois (Mayfair’s most luxurious Asian restaurant) has a variety of Halloween celebrations taking place on Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st October. Park Chinois’ lower-ground restaurant ‘Club Chinois’ will be hosting a one-off spooky spectacular of its weekly Dim Sum Afternoon Soirée, as well as a Halloween special of its famous show. Each is complete with opulent Chinese cuisine and jaw-dropping entertainment. On Saturday 30th, guests at the Halloween Afternoon Soirée will be led down the velvet spiral, cobweb-covered staircase to ‘Club Chinois’. Once settled, indulge yourself in champagne and a three-course menu from Park Chinois’ Executive Chef Lee Che Liang. Celebrate Day Of The Dead at Wahaca
Day of the Dead is an annual Mexican fiesta that acts as a positive celebration of life, with friends and family gathering to cherish and remember their dearly departed. To mark the occasion on British shores, between 20th October and 3rd November, visitors to Wahaca’s restaurants can enjoy a specially-created cocktail to accompany their celebratory taco feast. To round off the joyful vibe, each restaurant will be soundtracked by a special Day of the Dead playlist, as well as being decked out in traditional ‘papel picado’, with handmade altars inspired by the traditional ‘ofrendas’ set up each year in homes across Mexico to honour loved ones. Order A Devilish Deliveroo from The Demonic Butchery and Pie Emporium
For Halloween, Deliveroo is launching the Demonic Butchery and Pie Emporium which will be opening its doors for the first time giving away free pies featuring “human body parts”. With it marking 175 years since the infamous Sweeney Todd was first mentioned for his antics on Fleet Street, Deliveroo are playing the role of “Mrs Lovett” as they dish up pies containing thumbs, eyes and bones. The Victorian-inspired butcher store will feature jars of body parts all while the eerie sounds of chopping and smoke surround Fleet Street.
