Looking to ramp up the look and feel of your garden? Virtual Garden Design could be just the answer for you. With the rise in demand for garden improvements skyrocketing through 2020, you may also find yourself looking into ways to improve your garden space without the need to visit multiple garden centres, nurseries or designers.
If you are looking to turn your garden into a luxurious retreat, or simply want a calming and beautiful environment to relax in, the team from Architectural Plants, the renowned Pulborough-based plant nursery can help.
Since lockdown the team have launched a new Virtual Garden Design service, combining existing online access with video and phone app conferencing to provide their customers with a rapid and truly bespoke option, without the need to travel to and from and the nursery.
Guy Watts, MD at Architectural Plants recently completed a garden redesign for a customer within 24 hours, something he tells us was one of their greatest achievements through lockdown.
“We were initially very concerned when we were unable to welcome the public into our nursery, but the enquiries for garden redesigns kept coming in- so we knew we had to pivot. This particular customer knew the style he wanted for his garden and we were able to implement the changes within a 24-hour window.”
“I went to visit the customer at 3pm on a Thursday, he was located on the South Coast. Within an hour of getting back to the nursery, I had sent all of our ideas and a planting plan for where they would be located to the client. We then had a further meeting on the phone via Whatsapp video call and agreed the whole design that night. By the next morning we had all the plants delivered and our team sent down to install the design.”
